Trainer Ray Longo Explodes Over Ref's Stunning Blunder: 'What Were You Thinking?'

Veteran UFC coach Ray Longo unloaded on referee Dan Miragliotta following a widely criticized officiating decision during a recent fight, according to Yahoo Sports.

Longo did not hold back, bluntly questioning Miragliotta's judgment in the moment and asking what could have possibly led him to make the call he did. He went further, raising the possibility that the UFC itself may have had some influence over how the situation was handled, though specifics of that claim were not detailed.

The outburst adds to growing scrutiny of officiating in mixed martial arts, where split second decisions by referees can dramatically alter the outcome of a fight and, with it, fighters' careers and paydays.

Fallout Continues

As of the report, the UFC had not issued a detailed public response addressing Longo's specific accusations, leaving the controversy over Miragliotta's call unresolved.
