About Vast View News

Vast View News is a US-based, English-language news aggregator and curator. We find the viral and important stories of the day, summarize them in our own words, and always link and credit the original source. We also produce our own short videos. Find us as @vastview on TikTok, @VastView on YouTube, and @__vastview__ on Instagram (see Watch for direct links).

How we work

Most of what you see here starts as a headline from a wire service or news outlet. We write a short, original summary (never a copy of the full article) and link straight through to the outlet that reported it, clearly marked as “Source: [outlet]”. We don't download or rehost other outlets' photos; where a feed supplies its own thumbnail we display that image as provided, otherwise you'll see a plain, section-colored placeholder with the outlet's name.

Some stories are written entirely by us, start to finish. Those are marked with a byline of Vast View News and have their own page with a full write-up.

Corrections

We make mistakes sometimes. See our Corrections policy for how we handle that.
