What we collect

• Newsletter sign-ups: if you enter your email to join our list, we store that email address. We do not send marketing emails from any third-party platform with this data today, and we never sell or share it.
• Click counts: we keep a simple, first-party count of clicks on stories and aggregated items to show a “Trending” box. This is not tied to your identity and uses no third-party trackers, cookies or analytics services. It's separate from the Google Analytics usage described below.
• Server logs: like virtually every website, our web server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting.

Third parties

We use Google Analytics to understand overall traffic to this site (pages viewed, general location, device type). Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect your IP address; see Google's Privacy Policy for details on how that data is handled. It only runs on the public site, never in the admin panel.

Pages on this site may also embed official players from TikTok, YouTube or Instagram on the Watch page. Those platforms may set their own cookies when you view an embedded video. See their respective privacy policies for details.

Your choices

To be removed from the newsletter list, email [email protected] and we'll delete your address.
