Wall Street analysts issued diverging outlooks this week for two prominent consumer fintech companies. According to Investing.com, Scotiabank increased its price target on SoFi Technologies to $26 after the company posted strong financial results. Separately, StoneX raised its own price target on SoFi to $27, pointing to the company's earnings outlook as justification for the more bullish stance.

At the same time, Scotiabank took a more cautious view of Robinhood Markets, cutting its price target on the trading platform's stock. The firm cited concerns over margins as the reason for the reduced target, according to Investing.com.

The contrasting moves highlight differing analyst sentiment within the fintech sector, with SoFi drawing increased confidence from multiple firms while Robinhood faces renewed scrutiny over profitability pressures.
