Wisconsin's volleyball team didn't need style points to pick up a conference win, grinding past Michigan State in four sets, according to Yahoo Sports.
Badgers head coach Kelly Sheffield was candid afterward, admitting the match lacked the polish fans might expect from a top program, but the result still went Wisconsin's way.
The win keeps Wisconsin pushing forward in a competitive stretch of its schedule, even if the performance itself left room for improvement heading into upcoming matches.
