Denver Broncos fans have reason to celebrate after two of the franchise's most successful coaches were named finalists for the 2027 Pro Football Hall of Fame class. Mike Shanahan and Dan Reeves both made the cut as part of a five-person group of coach candidates, according to Yahoo Sports.
Shanahan and Reeves each built lasting legacies in Denver, helping transform the Broncos into one of the NFL's most consistently competitive teams over their respective tenures. Their inclusion among this year's coaching finalists puts them one step closer to joining the league's most exclusive club in Canton.
The Hall of Fame's coach category is notoriously difficult to crack, with only a handful of sideline leaders enshrined compared to the much larger pool of player inductees. Having two coaches from the same franchise up for consideration in the same class underscores how significant Shanahan's and Reeves's runs in Denver were viewed within the sport.
