Sullivan Blasts Rival Peltola: 'She Got Caught Lying' Days Before Alaska Vote

Senator Dan Sullivan escalated his attacks on rival Mary Peltola two days before Election Day, accusing her campaign of hiding its involvement in an ongoing ballot controversy in Alaska, according to PBS NewsHour.

Speaking on CNN's 'State of the Union,' Sullivan said it was implausible that Peltola's team could have gone a year without informing her about the issue. He argued she had been caught misleading voters and was continuing to do so.

'She got caught lying, and she's still lying to the Alaskan people, the media, to all of us,' Sullivan said, per PBS NewsHour.

The exact nature of the ballot controversy was not detailed in the available reporting, but the dispute has become a flashpoint in the final days of the race between the two Alaska political figures.
