Creandum, the venture capital firm best known for its early bet on Spotify, has raised a new $750 million fund aimed at backing startups across Europe and the US, according to Bloomberg.
Partner Peter Specht discussed the fundraise and the firm's deployment plans in an interview with Bloomberg's "The Opening Trade," speaking with hosts Tom Mackenzie, Guy Johnson and Anna Edwards.
The new capital signals continued investor appetite for technology bets on both sides of the Atlantic, with Creandum positioning the fund to pursue opportunities in multiple markets rather than concentrating on a single region.
