Richard Simmons' Hollywood Hills Home Finally Sells for $3.8M After Huge Price Cut
The late fitness icon's longtime Los Angeles residence sold for $3.8 million, far below its original $6.99 million asking price, with the new owner planning a restoration.

The Hollywood Hills home where Richard Simmons lived for decades has sold for $3.8 million, according to Page Six. The sale closed well under its initial asking price of $6.99 million, which was set when the property first hit the market in June 2025.
The steep drop in price reflects months on the market before the home finally found a buyer. Page Six reports that the new owner intends to restore the residence, long associated with the beloved and eccentric fitness personality.
Simmons, known for his energetic workout videos and larger than life persona, called the home his own for years before his death. The property's sale closes a chapter on one of the more recognizable private residences tied to a celebrity fitness figure.
