Afghanistan wrapped up a perfect T20I series against Zimbabwe after Noor Ahmad produced a devastating five-wicket haul that left the hosts reeling, according to Yahoo Sports. Zimbabwe were bowled out for just 80, a total that proved far too small to defend.
Captain Ibrahim Zadran had chosen to bowl first after winning the toss, looking to give his side practice chasing a target, Yahoo Sports reported. Noor's spell made that plan almost unnecessary, as Afghanistan cruised to the target in just 8.1 overs while losing only three wickets.
The comfortable win completed a clean sweep of the series, extending Afghanistan's dominant run against Zimbabwe in the shortest format.
